Sqirlz Morph - Multi-morphing Freeware
Review by on
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, and I have to say that is definitely the truth. You can blab on an on trying to explain something to a person only to have said person mindlessly stare back at you. Pop out a picture, and he suddenly gets it.

An image can be worth a few laughs as well – as long as you have a handy piece of software and some time on your hands. Take for example a Xiberpix-developed application called Sqirlz Morph that weighs in at about 1.7MB. Thanks to this software application you can take a bunch of images an morph them together. The technical description is that you can “mark features on several images, and the program mixes the images so that each feature on one image moves smoothly to the corresponding feature on the other images” – which means that you can morph images together.

Say for example you have a bunch of images of your dad, your mom, your sister, your mother-in-law, and a whole bunch of other relatives. Just looking at this collection of images is no something that would put a smile on your face. But taking all the images and morphing them together, not that’s something that will turn that frown upside down.

If you want to, you can also use Sqirlz Morph for more serious purposes. You could for example use it to come up with a presentation, where items in the presentation morph. Or you could use it for a video presentation - Sqirlz Morph allows you to morph images as well as videos.

If you only have one image, you can still play around. When you have multiple images, you can morph them together; when you have just one, you can warp it. The warping effect is similar to the morph effect, just that it applies to a single image that you animate by deforming it.

Once you are done morphing images, morphing videos, or warping just one image, you can export your work as Macromedia Flash (SWF) files, AVI video clips, and bitmap and JPEG files. Before you do that, take a minute to see how the final product looks like – this is made possible by Sqirlz Morph’s preview function.

Here comes the best part: Sqirlz Morph can be used at no charge whatsoever because it is freeware. So what are you waiting for? Download and put this software application through its paces.

Pros
  • Simple and easy to use interface
  • Morph any number of images
  • Morph videos
  • Warp a single image
  • Freeware

Cons
  • None that I could think of
